We worked with Repco to create a motorsport-inspired uniform collection that celebrates their proud automotive history and enthusiasm.

Repco, Australia’s iconic auto parts and aftermarket accessories supplier, has a long and proud history of continuous involvement in motorsports dating back over 95 years.

Known for their knowledge and expertise, Repco’s authentic group of people are automotive and motorsports enthusiasts, so it was important for their uniforms to capture the spirit of Repco’s motoring roots.

With 5000+ staff working in over 400 stores across Australia and New Zealand, the uniforms also had to deliver versatility, comfort and durability to withstand their dynamic store environment and motorsport involvement.

THE SOLUTION

Inspired by Repco’s history and collaboration with Sir Jack Brabham, the legendary champion racer and engineer, we designed a modern motorsport-style pit crew shirt and matching polo shirt named after Brabham. These 2 key styles became the heroes of the range with their pro-race appearance and detailed embroidery logos on the front, back and sleeves.

To improve performance and enhance functionality both pit crew and polo shirts were developed with great attention to detail. From the cotton-rich, anti-wrinkle fabrics to the smart pockets, ventilation panels, reinforced seams, and even eyelets for extra breathability, every detail was carefully considered.

Stock service items including business shirts, pants, skirts, outerwear and knitwear were added to the uniform range to give staff more freedom to express their personality and create their own look. These cost-effective items can be easily purchased through wage deduction or credit card, all facilitated directly through the dedicated Repco online portal.

THE OUTCOME

Despite some initial reservations from staff about changing uniform suppliers, the new Repco uniform range was a huge success. Orders for the new uniforms far exceeded everyone’s expectations and the feedback from staff and management continues to be enthusiastic.

By implementing our full-service solution, we were able to streamline and simplify the entire uniform process for Repco. While staff in Australia and New Zealand can quickly and easily order all their uniform needs online, management can keep track of admin access and live reports. Meanwhile, we manage all the manufacturing, warehousing, fulfilment and inventory strategy.

The online portal also lets staff see their live order status, view their uniform entitlement, submit returns and exchanges, and more importantly, save time managing their uniforms.
